Sara Saeidi

Sara Saeidi is an Iranian artist whose work spans textiles, tiles, ceramics, installations, and painting, blending Persian heritage with contemporary visual art. Her practice explores the intersections of art, history, and material culture, transforming historical motifs into modern forms that resonate with both tradition and innovation.
Born and raised in Iran, 1987, began her artistic journey with painting and later pursued studies in textile and fashion design in Iran.Sara holds a Master’s degree in Art History and Archaeology from SOAS University of London. Her academic research, combined with over 12 years of professional experience, informs a practice that bridges design, historical scholarship, and public engagement. Sara has led design projects at UK, UAE, Italy, and more than 100 companies in Iran, bringing culturally rich designs to life through meticulous colour combinations and historical motifs. She has also organized and facilitated workshops and artistic events, mentoring emerging designers and fostering the transmission of cultural knowledge alongside technical expertise. In addition to her design practice, Sara is a Trustee of the Persian Bloom registered Foundation in the UK, promoting Persian music and art while supporting cultural initiatives that celebrate Iranian heritage. Her professional experience extends to museum curation, public engagement, and event coordination, delivering exceptional experiences in arts and heritage settings. Through her work, Sara Saeidi invites audiences to explore the dialogue between past and present, heritage and modernity, crafting designs and research that celebrate cultural identity while pushing the boundaries of contemporary visual art.
